Cynthia & Tom | Boone Hall Plantation

Boone Hall Plantation’s Cotton Dock makes such an ideal place for a rustic wedding thanks to its bare wooden walls, exposed timber framing, and tabby floors. That’s just the direction Cynthia and Tom went for their Big Day with the help of the planners at The Burlap Elephant, who played off the theme with farm tables, wooden X-back chairs, and wending greenery throughout. The two kicked things off by inviting loved ones to an intimate ceremony over the water, afterwhich they enjoyed cocktails and a Southern menu. The night wrapped up a massive array of desserts including both a wedding cake and a South Carolina gamecock groom’s cake, as well as WildFlour Pastry‘s infamous sticky buns. Besides everyone leaving full and joyful from the night, we can only imagine the collective sugar buzz. Sweet, stuff!
