Identification documents are required to wed!

It is easy to forget in the midst of wedding preparations that government issued identification documents are required to register the marriage and issue marriage certificate! Couples are required to bring IDs to their ceremony! All documents are checked for validity by officials to prevent the cases of marriage fraud, where some people attempt to wed using fake identities, (apparently these can be ordered online easily nowadays), which imply subsequent ill intent towards their future spouse or an attempt to conceal their less than perfect past. Using fake identity is a crime in any civil affair, including marriage. Such cases will be persecuted according to the law.
