The week leading up to Kaitlyn and Paul’s wedding the forecast looked rough. But when photo maven Dana Cubbage reached out to Kaitlyn about a rain plan, the bride-to-be simply replied, “It’s not going to rain.” Her optimism paid off and not a drop of rain marred the special day. From portraits at Boone Hall Plantation to that ride on Lowcountry Valet & Shuttle’s peach vintage Crown bus and the ceremony downtown at Second Presbyterian Church, all was golden. When the celebrating took off back at the Cotton Dock, where Charleston Weddings by Allison and Out of the Garden had turned the space into a fantasy of crystal chandeliers, farm tables, creekside lounges, smilax installations and floral wonders, guests enjoyed a relaxed cocktail hour with chilled drinks and bites from Cru Catering. We’re so glad that the skies were clear for this sweet couple and even happier that we get to share their beautiful day with all of you. Hello, Monday!
