More often than not, we get submissions from planners and photographers, but every now and again a bride sends us her wedding and we love connecting and sharing all excitement of her Big Day firsthand. Today’s bride, Bonny, did just that, and how lucky for all of us! Photographed by Henderson Lewis Photography, the William Aiken House was the perfect locale for Bonny and Chris’ largely DIY affair. Vintage books and wine bottles collected by the bride made for beautiful centerpieces while the groom himself actually designed all of the invitations and papers—sweet! After dining on the delicious eats from Fish Restaurant, the party continued with music by Epic Charleston until the new Mr. & Mrs. exited through a tunnel of sparklers. In the bride’s own words, “It was a perfect day!”
