Some of Our Favorite Things….

So our Girl Saturday has been busy around Charleston and she is happy to Share some of her favorite finds!

Yes please! I love these banners. They may not be from Charleston but they sure do ship them here. I had a chance to catch up with the creative ladies at a A Brides Ride. Here is what they had to say…

{Yes, we do offer customized banner signs.  It usually takes about 2-3 weeks to get a customized banner sign made and sent to the client.  When ordering, some brides will write a note to tell me to incorporate certain colors.  I make sure to choose a banner ribbon or flower banner that has those colors.

What inspired us to start selling the decorating kits was our car owners.  They are very particular about things being taped and rigged onto the vehicle, so we wanted something that kept the style of the car and getaway, something that was fun…but most importantly something that was tied to the car and could be clipped easily! The cans are painted white, and then a belly band of decorative paper is applied.  The paper isn’t your normal decorative paper. Our designer is also a book maker, and she has quite a taste for fine paper goods.  There are satin, twine and organza ribbons used to string the banners, depending on the color choices made. The kits aren’t meant to be so matchy-matchy—they’re meant to coordinate and offer something fun to the Getaway Photo Op.  The different patterns and textures add a homemade feel, without looking too “crafty.”}

I suddenly had DIY dreams of creating this myself until I saw the price…$47 for the kit. I would easily spend four times that amount trying to recreate these so well. Well done A Brides Ride! A girl’s hardest decision….which color?

Now off to Studio R to check out ideas for the big day, some options for “Save the Date” cards, menus…well, just about anything. I particularly love the wine tags and the custom coasters.

Oh, I do LOVE these custom vintage Charleston postcards.

Rachel Gordon has outdone herself. She just had the Grand Opening of her new store on King Street. ONE is just a quick walk up the stairs and it is well worth the trip. Rachel has created a space where she showcases multiple local artists in one shop. She shared that she plans to offer a sip and shop on Saturday. Stay tuned for all the details.

Candice over a Yoj Events is known for her custom linens at her events. Now everyone can enjoy her work. She just launched her own Etsy shop and her custom creations are being shipped all over the country.

A quick stop by Monkee’s of Daniel Island never hurts. And now spring and summer are in full bloom on their racks. I am a huge fan of Alice and Olivia and this flirty little frock is perfect for just about any anything! A girl needs more than a wedding dress for the wedding!

These new Jack Roger flats have my name ALL over them!
