Yes, I’m excited it’s Friday, but I’m infinitely more excited to show you Michelle and John’s beautiful wedding at Lowndes Grove Plantation. Let’s start with a bit of wedding trivia—tradition has it that the groom and his family purchase the bride’s bouquet as a gift. John went old-school and made a lovely show of presenting Michelle with her gorgeous bouquet when they met for their pre-ceremony first look. The moments, captured perfectly by Landon Jacob, are a pure delight. Once John had recovered from seeing Michelle in her Mark Zunino gown, they met their good lookin’ bridal party on the front lawn for pre-wedding portraits. A short bit later, vows were sealed with a kiss, and cocktail hour began in the black and white tiled portico of the plantation home, where glasses of champagne and delicious hors d’oeuvres by Patrick Properties Hospitality Group were passed. As guests made their way into the reception tent, guests were visibly overwhelmed as they surveyed the gorgeous setting by The Burlap Elephant and Branch Design Studio. Long banquet tables boasted full-length floral table runners of white hydrangea, coral roses, and eucalyptus while overhead, the gilded chandeliers were encircled with blooming wreaths of the same. Following a glamourous meal and dancing for hours, eventually Michelle and John rose to depart through a sea of sparklers and loved ones. See why I was so excited to share this one with you?
