Charleston has had it’s share of cloudy days this month for sure, but fear not, Michelle and Dan’s wedding is so bright and cheery it’s bound to bring a little sunshine to your Thursday! Inspired by Michelle’s favorite designer, Lilly Pulitzer, a bold color palette of pink, teal, yellow, and white was used throughout their Big Day. Even Michelle’s umbrella and the bridesmaids shift dresses were designed by Lilly. Oh, and her darling updo by Charleston I Do, featured a colorful orchid and jeweled starfish pins echoing a colorful motif from the bridesmaids’ Lilly pattern—so fun! After they tied the knot at St. John the Baptist, Dan quickly changed out of his dress blues and into a seersucker suit to match his groomsmen, hopped on the trolley with his bride and cruised the streets of downtown Charleston with photographer Reese Moore for some post-ceremony portraits. Once the bridal party arrived at the Francis Marion Hotel, touching speeches were made before everyone crowded the dance floor for a night full of laughter, dancing and celebration. Cheers to the happy couple!
