Megan & Scott | Lowndes Grove Plantation

Megan & Scott | Lowndes Grove Plantation

For Scott’s 30th birthday, Megan gifted him a trip through Europe, but he turned the tables and proposed to her on their Old World trek. For their wedding, the New Yorkers joined forces with Intrigue Design & Events and headed South to create a “modern Midsummer Night’s Dream” (Megan’s phrasing) at Lowndes Grove Plantation. And while the setting was a colorful delight, we love the bride’s many style statements. Among them: Hawaii-born Megan followed island custom and wore a large pink peony over her left ear to signify that she was taken; and she donned a gold-foiled Carol Hannah dress, which she intends to fashion into a christening gown for the couple’s infant daughter. Style and substance? Perfection! See more of their gorgeous day here.
