It is no secret that I go weak in the knees for letterpress, a total TWR swoonfest. I love the textures, the process, the dedication to customized perfection. We wanted to give you a first hand look at one of our new favorite letterpress purveyors, Sixpence Press. The designer, Heather Forsythe has been an intergral part of the Charleston wedding world behind the camera and her photography is well published. Now she has added a new feather in her cap…over the moon gorgeous custom letterpress for brides worldwide.

I am pinching myself excited about some super fabulous Sixpence letterpress loveliness designed by the maven of amazing at Gracious Paper; I am talking complete paper eye candy. I had to force myself to finally put them down just so I can blog about them. If you have ever wondered what all the hubpub is about the true art form of letterpress, here is a look behind the scenes at Sixpence Press.

Words don’t do it justice. Heather’s work is so unique and beautiful in person, but this just puts it over the top. I had no idea the process was so organic. It reminds me of my sewing on my grandmother’s Singer treddle. I’m in awe.
