04 Jun Kitty & Charles {Jacob Bond House}
One of our favorite weeks on TWR is when we kick off a new issue of Charleston Weddings magazine. Now that our summer issue is on newsstands, we can finally start sharing all of the loveliness that we have been lingering over behind the scenes – trust me it was worth the wait. So let’s not waste a minute and delve straight into some of fabulous real weddings that we have the pleasure to print on our very pretty pages. Charles and Kitty’s cultural nuptials are leading the charge in our week-long jaunt through the issue.

Posted at 15:04h, 05 JuneI am so excited to see this multicultural wedding featured on the wedding row! I was their planner
(Tanis j Events) and i had so much fun incorporating the “Double Happiness’ symbol throughout her wedding, working with her to amend the colors (from the traditional red and gold to burgundy and sand) and really fusing together Asian and Southern style.

Posted at 08:55h, 07 JuneKitty was searching for photographers from across the world and somehow found me in Charleston. When I received an email and then a call one day from Hong Kong I though it might have been spam but after a few conversations we completely connected and I knew I would try everything in my power to be there for her as her photographer on her special day. A world traveler myself, it was truly special to have the chance to photograph such an interesting, worldly couple. Congratulations Kitty and Charles and thank you for including me in your celebration! And thank you Tanis Jackson (Tanis j Events) for bringing together their cultural ideas in a beautiful way!
