Kasey & Alex | Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation

Kasey & Alex | Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation

Ahoy, dearies! Kasey and Alex’s love story began out at sea as the two were working on a cruise ship, so, naturally, when planning the design for their Charleston nuptials at Boone Hall Plantation, they knew they wanted to weave in some worldly and nautical elements. Kasey, a modern Southern belle, wore playful two-tone separates by LulaKate while her Romanian groom kept it classic with navy suspenders and rolled sleeves. Following a waterside ceremony on the covered dock of the Cotton Dock, the couple and their guests enjoyed a dinner reception inside the rustic venue, where long farm tables held garlands of ruscus, gold chargers holding navy blue china, and unique design elements like globes, vintage books, and even little sailboats as a subtle, sweet nod to their romance’s roots! And y’all, this groom even gave his new wife a foot massage after her feet were tired from dancing to the sounds of the David Higgins Band all night! What a catch. Congrats, Kasey and Alex!
