Given Kalyn and Josh met while training on the College of Charleston swimming and diving team, it only makes sense that years into their romance, they honored their shared love for the water (and Spanish moss-covered oak trees), by saying “I do” on the banks of the Ashley River at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens . Josh, an avid skateboarder, had each of his groomsmen wear Vans sneakers while Kaylyn rocked her own pair in a peach hue that matched her bridesmaids’ Watters frocks perfectly—too cute. Inside the estate’s Carriage House, Spanish moss hung from iron chandeliers while sweet garlands of greenery, hydrangea, and roses lined the dining tables below. We especially love how they opted to dance their first dance on the patio under the bistro lights! Such a laid back and romantic start to the evening. And what better way to finish the night than with a s’mores bar and sparkler send off? Hooray for the happy couple and a big thanks to Jessi Nichols Photography for sharing this sweet Charleston wedding with all of us!
