Joy & Ben {Private Residence}

Joy & Ben {Private Residence}

Just try and hold back a grin when you lay eyes on Joy and Ben’s Folly Beach and catch the first details of their love story. The two, who met at a friend’s Super Bowl party, share a love for live music, the outdoors, and animals (they have a Corgi and a kitty), but it was their engagement story that really had me giggling. Ben had ordered Joy’s ring online, but when we went to pick it up at FedEx he had forgotten his ID. After calling Joy to bring it to him so that he could sign for the ring, he couldn’t contain his excitement a moment longer and popped the question in the FedEx parking lot. Equal parts hilarious and romantic, people. Well, their Big Day, captured by Priscilla Thomas, was just as joyful and beautiful as the with maids in minty gowns carrying bouquets of blush and lilac blooms and sunny weather for the completely open-air celebration overlooking the marshes. Bistro lights hung from the trees above dining tables topped with bourbon bottles of blue delphinium and pink Majolica spray roses for a perfect touch of rustic and whimsy. All of our best to this adorable couple!
