We’re starting our week with a trip to one of our favorite spots: Beaufort, South Carolina, a fishing village south of Charleston. The gem of an historic town was made even more gorgeous when Jordan and Will hosted their stunning Southern wedding there this past fall. The couple said their vows on the lawn of a private home overlooking the water before recessing down the aisle to the sounds of a gospel choir. Afterward, the Hilton Head residents lead their guests to the beautiful Beaufort Inn’s Tabby Garden where an outdoor reception crafted by the talented Katie Huebel of WED awaited. Katie, who’s knack for decorator-styled events make them as cozy as they are stylish, outfitted the garden in farm tables, X-back chairs, neutral linens, and copious amounts of beautiful blooms and greenery from Beaufort-based HB Stems (which Katie’s mom heads). After a delicious dinner of shrimp and grits, mini-hamburgers, and slow-roasted prime rib, Jordan and Will danced their hearts out to the sounds of Loose Chain before the groom swept his bride up off her feet and carried her away! Talk about romance…
