25 May Jessica & Jodie | The Gadsden House
I am all heart eyes for this Valentine’s Day wedding at The Gadsden House and I’m pretty sure that you will be, too, after you soak up all of its heartfelt details. (See what what I did there? Ha!) Jessica and Jodie, longtime Holy City fans, knew that they wanted to host their wedding here, but they also wanted to honor their guests and the roles each played in bringing the couple together. So the affianced pair called up the ladies at A Charleston Bride and in no time guests were in town, welcomed with his and hers goodie boxes filled with items handpicked by the bride and groom—precious! The next day, everyone headed to The Gadsden House on East Bay Street where they witnessed Jessica and Jodie exchange vows in the courtyard. Jessica’s fit-and-flare gown, cathedral-length veil (which was accented with lace from her mother’s gown), and a bouquet of blush and red garden roses, hanging amaranthus, and greenery all made for the perfect romantic Valentine’s Day look. And the reception? Check out how it plain brimmed with beauty and thoughtfulness at every turn, from those curved banquet tables on the porch to that custom palmetto tree monogram, those lounges, and that bourbon bar. Congratulations to Jessica and Jodie and thank you for sharing your beautiful day with all of us at TWR!
