It may have taken years for Christy and Brad—best friends from high school—to realize that they loved each other, but it took maybe two seconds for me to realize that I was head over heels for their knockout wedding at Lowndes Grove Plantation. The Chicago-based bride, who looked a vision in her Matthew Christopher gown and shoulder-length veil, knew she wanted something timeless, elegant, and glamorous, and goodness, did the ladies of Pure Luxe Bride deliver. You could say that Christy’s bouquet of café au lait dahlias, garden roses, hellebore, and olive leaves, beautifully arranged by SYG Designs, set the tone for the affair. A gorgeous palette of the softest pinks, greens and creams sang from the linens to the custom signage to even the macarons that were placed at each place setting. Absolutely stunning! Another element that brought the elegance bar even higher was the stunning four-tiered lattice designed cake by DeClare Cakes––almost too pretty to eat! With no detail left unperfected, this Charleston wedding captured by Dana Cubbage Weddings is bound to inspire us for bygones.
