Goodness gracious, it’s greenery galore! Chelsea and Paul’s romantic wedding at the appropriately named Cannon Green stole our hearts the moment it was sent it our way by photographer Jennings King. The lovebirds have a way of knowing what they want from the outset: they not only fell in love with each other at first sight, but they fell for Cannon Green when Paul’s sister showed them the venue via Skype while attending an event there. The couple, who live in Florida, flew up pronto and began planning their heartfelt wedding day, which included thoughtful details like personalized bottles of olive oil for place cards, snippets of Italian ruscus at each place setting, and olive leaves tucked into every floral arrangement by Charleston Florist, all as an homage to the groom’s Italian heritage. After a ceremony that left not one dry eye in the crowd, guests headed inside the reception space to enjoy an incredible dinner from the Cannon Greenkitchen and slices of gold gilded cake from DeClare Cakes. If you’re in the “simple, romantic, and a whole lotta greenery” school of thought like Chelsea, then this fête is what your wedding dreams are made of. Congratulations, Chelsea and Paul!
