The first time I spoke to Darrell Brock of The Connellys, he had me flat out laughing. He has been a huge supporter of The Wedding Row and we are thrilled to share a double feature this weekend courtesy of The Connellys. Meet Cathi Leigh and Griffin. This lovely couple married last weekend and now we can finally share the photographs. Cathi Leigh passed along a few details of their love story…

Griffin and I met our freshman year of college at Clemson University. We lived in the same co-ed dorm and my roommate introduced us the first day we moved in. We were friends the entire first year. When we returned in the fall Sophmore year, we again moved into buildings side by side. We had always flirted, but this time something was different. Griffin finally made his move and we’ve been together ever since.

Boone Hall was a great place for our engagement session. Charleston holds a special place in our heart. Not only did Griffin propose in Charleston, but it is like a second home. Boone Hall holds all of the beauty of Charleston in one place…history, beautiful marsh viewst, and a gorgeous sprawling landscape with ancient oak trees.

The photo shoot was a wonderful experience. It was a perfect spring morning. Darrell couldn’t have been better. My fiance was dragging his feet a little bit about the picture session, but instead wound-up having a great time. I think my favorite part was the bike ride. It felt more like a romantic day in the park with Griffin and somehow we have these beautiful memories we’ll cherish forever!
