Since we can’t all be as fabulous as Princess Kate and do our own makeup on the big day, it’s a good thing there are amazingly talented makeup artists like Andrew Petersen right here in Charleston to save the day! Andrew has worked with makeup tycoons like Trish McAvoy, Chanel, and Christian Dior Beauty and traveled all over the world doing so. When it comes to his brides his goal is to “enhance the beauty of the individual one brush stroke at a time”. And as if all of this isn’t enough, Andrew has launched his own cosmetic line, Misiu Beauty, that he designed to reintroduce high-demand lip gloss shades that have been discontinued by their national lines! An answer to every woman’s prayers. You can find Andrew teaching his trade at The Art Institute, the Paul Mitchell School as well as The Cos Bar in downtown Charleston.
