Save the Dates {Favorite Things}

Save the Dates {Favorite Things}

Well, I am pretty sure that you are going to flip your lids over these. I oohed and ahhed all the way through them. “Save the Dates” come in all shapes and sizes these days. They range from magnets to youtube videos and everything in between. Save the Dates convey so much more than simply the date and time of a wedding. They set the tone for your wedding, they are the first introduction to the big day.  The theme for the entire wedding is packaged in this little detail. Whether they are fun, whimsical, funky or formal, they establish the motif and a couple’s personality shines through them. With the current variety available these days we just had to show off a few…{heck, let’s be honest, it also gave me a reason to shop.} Oh, and that perfectly fabulous image above was taken by the lovely and extraordinarily talented Juliet Elizabeth in front of The American Theater. We think she is the bees knees!

I have a love affair with letter press and Jackie at 42 Pressed steals my heart each time I see her work. There is something so supremely intoxicating just holding the ultra thick tree free paper, that’s right…her talent is artfully pressed on 100% cotton paper.

The photographer and videographers over at Save the Date Films are keeping it green and eco friendly with these emailable, facebookable, wedding website linkable short films. They strive to save memories, save trees and save the date!

Walking through the store is a proverbial walk through a custom paper wonderland where anything is possible. I am just in love with this gorgeous little red boarding pass!

The talented Dee Ruel is quite a busy lady. When she is not creating fabulous jewelry she is also a paper artist finding time to design custom modern chic papers and invitations. How is a girl to decide?

The amazing mother and daughter team at Dulles Designs have invitations and papers down to a science. Striving to carry exclusive lines that perfectly balance between elegant and classic styling to the fresh and swanky…all the while being able to customize too. Personally, I will take one of everything…including the uber fabulous gifts that they also have in this adorable shop on Church Street.
