If life is measured by the moments that take your breath away, then Megan & Davan’s wedding at the William Aiken House has to be one of mine. After fawning over Hyer Images’s jaw-dropping shots of Megan and her troupe of maids in their Gatsby-inspired Deco gowns and then setting eyes on their gorgeously plush lounge area, I knew that Pure Luxe Bride had set my new standard for outdoor elegance and perfectly planned affairs. Megan and Davan whose proposal went askew when Megan thought the engagement ring hidden in her rooftop tomato garden was actually a bug, dreamed up a day that was just as entertaining. From mismatched custom table linens to candid wedding party photos taken in front of the American Theatre marquee to unusually beautiful anemone bouquets, this is one celebration worth raising your glass for. Well wishes to the newlyweds! And thanks for the inspiration.
