Hi all! Hope you’re enjoying your three-day weekend. Here’s a little more reason to celebrate: Kelly and Josh’s heartwarming, uber-festive wedding at Old Wide Awake Plantation. Captured by TWR darling, Dana Cubbage, the affair was a perfect representation of the bride and groom. The couple, both doctors with a passion for helping the poor, wanted to incorporate traditions from their home city of New Orleans, while also honoring their Latin heritage and families throughout their celebrations. Well, the results were nothing short of gorgeous! The ceremony, which was performed in both English and Spanish, was followed by the NOLA tradition of a second line parade to the reception. Not only did it bring a little Nawlins to the Lowcountry, it also offered up beaucoup adorable photo moments. Back at the plantation house, Fresh Foods Market Catering served up a Southern spread on the wraparound porch before guests hit the open-air dance floor for a night of classic wedding tunes and salsa dancing. From the hand-painted invitations (by the mother of the bride) to the to the thoughtfully Southern-sourced antiques used throughout the event, this wedding is pure pretty from beginning to end. ¡Felicidades, Kelly and Josh!
